Event Catering

Catering has very much become a specialty for Baan Thai restaurants and we pride ourselves at being one of the few restaurant groups that can successfully cook, package and deliver tasty Thai food directly to your office or designated event venue in a timely manner.

For Baan Thai’s catering menu, we can also help you plan or suggest the suitable Thai dishes that are not only great for sharing with friends, work colleagues or clients, but also the dishes that travel the best from one of our restaurants to your office, event venue or even to your home. Yes, Baan Thai also provides customers with an option to supply our delicious Thai food to your residential address for that extra special spicy dinner party with friends and family.

Junk Catering

Baan Thai has successfully been delivering delicious Thai food to junks, boats and yachts at piers around Hong Kong for 5 years now and counting.

We provide all the neatly packaged dishes with environmentally friendly cutlery (if the customer requires it) and as we do with regular catering, we label each dish cover with the description of the food and of course we provide all the delicious accompanying sauces and dips.

Thai food was made for junk parties, especially the smaller bites type of dishes that make it easier to eat if on a moving or rocking boat. Item like spring rolls, satay sticks, fresh rice paper rolls, fish cakes, noodles and our famous laab mini burgers. Many of our dishes have vegetarian options, so there’s something for everybody!

We recently had a fantastic birthday dinner for 12 at Baan Thai in Central. Everybody was spoilt with wonderful food and service. Having previously lived in Thailand for a number of years, we found the food very authentic and delicious. But, what made the night so special was the exceptional service provided by the manager Vicky and her team. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone … can’t wait to return!

We have been coming to Baan Thai for the last three years. It is, by far, our favorite Thai restaurant in Hong Kong. We travel from Quarry Bay to eat here when we get the chance. They are never a disappointment. The food and the service is, quite simply, the best. You will never be disappointed. Make this a “must” on your list!

A very relaxed atmosphere with great quality Thai food. We enjoyed the spring rolls and pomelo salad starters that were a decent size and fresh. The main dishes of vegetable yellow curry and the basil chicken dishes on the lunch menu were also very good. The use of fresh herbs and vegetables made the flavours very clean and sharp. The lunch menu has a good range of dishes, which are reasonably priced for the area.

I went today with my son for the first time and we have to say, the food is amazing! Very traditional thai as opposed to what we usually get in places here, the service is 5 stars and ambience is excellent. I would highly recommend Baan Thai and we will be back again very very soon.
